Environment Matched
Camouflage.
We study your hunting terrain and build a pattern around it. Every piece is one of a kind. Send us a photo of where you hunt, or just describe it.
Built for Where
You Hunt.
No templates. Ever.
Every pattern is hand-applied from scratch. We study your terrain, your light conditions, your environment — and build something that has never existed before.
30 years of pattern study.
We have spent three decades analyzing breakup, color theory, and shadow. Send us a photo of where you hunt, or just describe it. We take it from there.
The whole rig.
DuraCoat air-cures — no oven — so we can coat your rifle, optics, polymer stock, and bipod all in one session. Nothing gets left behind.

01
Share Your Vision
Send a photo of your hunting terrain, or describe your idea: colors, environment, whatever you have in mind. We work with both.
02
We Design Your Pattern
We study your terrain and hand-apply each layer of the camouflage design using DuraCoat, a two-part epoxy that cures to milspec hardness without an oven, so we can coat every surface of your rig.

Pick Up & Disappear
Your rifle or bow is coated, cured, and ready. Your prey won't know what hit them.
Just want a solid color instead?
Same DuraCoat material, same shop, same hand — minus the pattern design step. Pick a color (FDE, OD green, Sniper Grey, Flat Black, or a custom match) and we coat the whole rig in it.

How is your camouflage different from dip kits or hydrographic transfers?
Every pattern is hand-applied from scratch with DuraCoat — no templates, no stencils, no dipping. We study your terrain (or your reference photos) and build a one-of-a-kind breakup pattern layer by layer. No two jobs leave the shop identical.
Do I need to send a photo of my hunting terrain?
Photos help but are not required. Describe where you hunt — elevation, vegetation, rock color, light conditions — and we will design around it. If you already have reference images of your actual hunting ground, send them. Terrain-specific patterns always outperform generic camouflage in the field.
How long does a custom camouflage job take?
Typical turnaround is 2–3 weeks from the time we receive the firearm. Multi-layer terrain patterns on a full rig (rifle, optic, stock, suppressor) take toward the longer end. We quote a specific timeline with every project.
Can you coat my optic, polymer stock, and suppressor along with the barreled action?
Yes — and this is one of the main reasons we use DuraCoat instead of Cerakote. DuraCoat air-cures at room temperature, so there is no 250°F oven stage that would damage optics, polymer, or suppressor baffles. We coat the whole rig as one system so everything matches.
How durable is a custom camouflage finish?
DuraCoat cures to milspec hardness as a two-part epoxy with some flex, which helps it resist chipping on rifles that see real hunts. As a durability benchmark outside firearms: Joel coated the roof rack on his Toyota Tundra in DuraCoat eight years ago and it still hasn't sun-rotted in the Arizona sun, never garaged. Proper care on a rifle (cleaning, storage) extends it further.
How much does it cost?
Jobs start at our $250 shop minimum. Custom camouflage is priced by color count — $150 per color on a rifle, $120 per color on a handgun, plus a flat $50 surface prep fee. Most layered hunting patterns run 3 to 5 colors, and the whole rig (optic, stock, suppressor) is included in the color count. Full breakdown including our $1,200 unlimited-color tier is on our gun coating cost page.
Do I need a local FFL to ship my firearm?
No. Carnimore is a licensed FFL, so you can ship your firearm directly to us from anywhere in the United States — no middleman dealer required. We also accept drop-off by appointment at our shop in New River, Arizona.
